Yay! Kris Yay!

I wish I had the time to write up Fridays Kris Delmhorst show in an appropriate manner. But this is going to be another one of those week however we shallnt go into that now. Back to Friday night and Kris. First off, we were a little disappointed to learn that Kris was the opening act and not the other way around. That though, was soon completely negated by (A) getting excellent seats right next to the stage and (B) a Kick-Ass set of songs. The set consisted of a perfect mix of old and new songs, given she couldnt have played all the songs I wanted to hear, cause that would have entailed her playing ALL of her songs but, she did pick a fabulous few and performed them justly. Plus, now having seen the show a few times we knew all of the songs, even the ones off the not-quite-yet released album. We were also able to see some growth. Kris appeared tad more comfortable in front of the crowd and her guitar accompanist, Steve, came out to the foreground more often and in doing added a great deal. Not changing the songs / just making them better. It was another fabulous show. Thank ya Kris and Steve for another night dreamily spent.

Take care,

-Fritz
