Ya know trees have leaves during the night?

The biggest / life changing occurrence of this weekend was getting glasses Friday night, HANDS DOWN! I mean I knew I needed them But HOLY SHIT! (this was an often repeated phrase that night and since). You see these are my very first pair of glasses EVER. I was kinda down on needing them. Even in a state of quasi-denial but they make so much of a difference HOLY SHIT! The other semi-surprising aspect of the whole getting glasses routine was the fact I actually found a pair that look halfway decent on me. I have a smaller than average face Not too noticeable really, until I try to buy a hat or a pair of glasses. But I was able to find a small angular black pair that does a decent job of bringing out my true inner-geekness. I can see. I am happy

The rest of the weekend went well too. I took advantage of the beautiful weather (it got up to the mid 70s) and washed the cars, then played an astounding round of Frisbee golf. Joined a group that was just starting their round. The group had a nice mix of talent and it felt real good being able to keep up with the pros of the pack. *sigh* definitely a superb way to spend the first day of December. That night, I traveled out to the nearest mall (45 mins away) and civilization well at least somewhere that could pass for it in a crunch, to do some needed x-mas shopping. I ended up getting everything I was looking for even a few things I didnt even think existed. Then in true geek / childish form I bought myself a computer game. Empire Earth So far it looks real cool. Kinda a neat mix of the war like RTS games (red alert etc..) Im used to and Civilization. Its a really huge game though I still dont have a firm grasp of it all. But it should serve nicely to waste away the time until x-mas.

Well you all take care

-Fritz
