Minor changes Just a quick update today, I got to get to the grind here at work. But I wanted to let you all know about a slight change in my day to day updates. For the longest time I have been thanking everyone who signs my guestbook. But I had gotten a bit of slack for that by some and while I do really really appreciate and still am grateful for gbook love. Im beginning to think that just by issuing blanket thanks every day, it makes it hard to super-thank those who go over and beyond in some fashion. Anyways, this is all a complex way of saying that Im going to start to try to reserve my thanks on a day to basis Let me know you thoughts on this nothing is written in stone. Redneck arrived last night and promptly the house was involved in a 4 player gamecube ahhh such a sign of things to come. But I was able to get decent sleep.. and Oooooh My best friend Maroon rocks! She rocks harder than the Pope! No really, she abso-freaking-utely does! She found and picked up 2 matching red sparkly dinner-esque chairs that Sliver has been lusting after. I had been able to acquire two at the target down here but no more were to be found anywhere that is till last night. Sliver was soooo thrilled. I tell ya some women dig chocolate, some perfume, all dig diamonds, but Sliver, she seems to really dig red sparkly cushy things. Todays Lessons -Question: If there are well know phobias for small-spaces (claustrophobia), spiders (arachnophobia), and even the number thirteen (triskadecaphobia), why isnt there one for the fear of rejection? Answer: The definition of phobia requires the fear to be irrational And lets face it those whoa re most scared of rejection usually are quite right to hold that fear -Anything can remind someone of anybody. Its been cool - 2005-05-18 If you happen to have a surplus of funds, please feel free to buy something for little old me off my Wish list. You will earn my undying love and gratitude. ;) |
