It snowed Ok so we didn�t get the two feet everyone else did. We were on the border of snow and rain. So we got eight inches of snow then a decent amount of freezing rain / sleet. So much so, that afterwards the snow was iced over enough that you could walk on top of it. But still it wasn�t enough to completely shut down things yesterday infact my work was open. You could take liberal leave, which I did so I could stay home with everyone but had to use a vacation day to do it. It was a fun time nonetheless. I mean we always had a house fun but we really packed it in for the snow� In addition the usual House live-ins, Me Silver, White and Redneck, we also had Sami and Maroon over. It was fun, really it was� had to stretch the meals a bit but in the end it was certainly nicer to have a houseful. But it�s back to work for me today. C�est La Vie�. We got a short week in the house and a short week is better than a short bus. Oh and just so you all know Vday went well. Really well! I aced it! Today�s Lessons -The difference between a 4x4 and a car/truck with all-wheel-drive. Is that the 4x4 can turn off it�s 4-wheel drive, while in the all-wheel-drive it�s always on. -Never never give a vacuum as a Valentine�s Day gift, NEVER. -Appropriate use of (�) � On Valentine�s day one might send a lot of valentines. -Please people� Lift with your legs! -Clearing snow/ice off one�s car is tremendously easier if one starts it up and lets it run for a half an hour before hand. BUT if you�re car is especially snow covered� do not sit in it while it�s warming up. Carbon Monoxide tends to build up in those situations.
