Distributed thinking

Ya all dorks know about that SETI@Home project, right? It used distributed computing to process radio signals in the search for extraterrestrial life. Basically when a computer was on but not being used, it would go to SETI to find stuff to work on. This multiplied by 1000s made for incredible computing potential. Well it yesterday it hit me. We need a distributed thinking network. So that when were not using our brains they could be working on something with worldwide meaning. Think about the potential Imagine all the extensive thought that goes into Sports. If we could harness that and directed it toward any worthwhile purpose / problem, then we would be able to solve all the worlds problems. The world could be made such a better place.

Todays Lessons

1. Its the sUn not the sOn the earth revolves around.

2. Brain venting is an inherent and necessary part of a workday.

3. Be cautious of anybody who knocks on wood after every thing they say to you.

4. Frustration is greatest when something only works half the time. Any less or more and predictability starts to stem.

Take care,

-Fritz
