Life Boxes

I used to break down life into nice clean distinctions when helping friends Id see a friend obviously being troubled by something. I ask something like how are things? or How ya doing to which they would invariably reply fine.. . Yeah right. So what is it? Friends, Parents, School, Significant Other? And that usually worked. Problems could often be isolated to one or perhaps two of those categories. And while the categories have somewhat changed I still find it immensely useful to look at problems/events in this compartmentalized way. It helps one keep perspective. You can feel like youre going through hell on earth but then realize wait X, Y, and Z are all doing just dandy then all of a sudden Q doesnt seem that huge of a problem any more. Even when things are going extremely well in one area its still a decent idea to look toward the other areas just to keep your feet at least pointed towards the ground

So why am I babbling on about this? Well I just thought it was kinda weird that week ago my bud took me up on my Meri , Kristy, Nicole and Sami all took the time to sign my Guest Book (thanks guys!). If any of these things would have happen by themselves I still would have called it a good day.. But all at the same time! WOW.. On a not so cheery note, Purple is down visiting and my heartstings are being strummed like a out-of-tuned twelve-string guitar. Its a long complex story that with everything else going on I refuse to dwell upon at the moment.

With that, Take Care you all,

-Fritz
