If you notice the little inscription in the upper right corner of this page� you�ll see that today marks the three-year anniversary of this here journal. To me it feels very similar to a relationship�s anniversary. Like I should go and take Dland out to dinner tonight, you know somewhere special. Joking aside.. Dland is very much like a relationship. One sits here and tells his story of the day, of the hour, of the week, then quietly takes in Dland�s stories. Sometimes one side does more or even all of the talking. Sometimes one doesn�t listen like the other would wish� but in the end they work it out and they last.

I have always said the primary indicator of the strength of a relationship is time. �Time tells� I always say. Well after three years, I think I can safely say time has told. I�m in for this journal-writing hitch for the long run. I thank you all, whoever you are for reading and writing and making Dland the lively lasting partner it has turned out to be.
